A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date of the final judgment.

Criminal facts

The Defendant is the nominal owner of the business registration of the Yansan-gu Cgameland in Jeonju-si.

No one shall provide game products, the contents of which are different from those of the rating, for distribution or use, and exchange or arrange exchange or repurchase the results of tangible or intangible results obtained through the use of game products, or conduct business of repurchase.

Nevertheless, the Defendant: (a) had the intent to provide altered game products to customers and operate a speculative game room which interchanges game money in cash; and (b) had been deliberated from March 29, 2012 to April 3, 2012 on the content of obtaining points by launching the water body on the screen with the launcher in the above game site from around March 29, 2012 to acquiring the score by capturing the water body on the screen; and (c) had the game products classified as the game products with the total use price by using the automatic game machine, regardless of the game user’s ability or skill, installed the game products with 50 game machine in the above game room and provided them to unspecified customers; and (d) had the game score acquired by customers in cash, and received an amount equivalent to 10% of them as commission fees.

As a result, the defendant provided game products with contents different from the rating, and carried on business of exchanging game products with the result of the game.
