A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than three years and six months.

1. On February 2013, the Defendant of C(D) website (hereinafter “D”) opened and operated an office in the order of opening and operating a private sports gambling site, “C(F domain use)” and “D(DG use, etc.). H takes overall charge of the duties as the chairperson of the above site and takes overall control of the duties as the chairperson of the above site. The Defendant and I performed the overall duties related to the sports gambling site, such as purchase of presidential passbook, total interference with the book, interview and employment of new employees, etc. with the president of the share ownership, and J, K, K, etc., as the head of the domestic office, transferred money from the exchange company to the Republic of Korea, such as receipt of revenue, receipt of presidential bankbooks, payment of employee benefits, etc., and L, M, etc., takes overall control of the site as a local manager, and perform the duties of operating and managing local employees, N,O, etc., in sequence, in order to perform the duties of operating and managing the website, exchange, customer consultation, etc.
Defendant: (a) conspired with H, etc. in sequentially from February 2013 to May 2016, the Defendant deposited game money by receiving money from members who joined each of the above sites; and (b) caused the said members to engage in betting amount from the minimum amount of KRW 5,000 per each game, which predicted the difference in points, such as a stable, farm, and camping district, to the maximum amount of KRW 1,00,000,000 per game; and (c) caused the said members to obtain or lose game money according to the result of the game by operating the online gambling site by paying money equivalent to the money to the members’ account; and (d) made profits equivalent to KRW 25.69 billion by operating the online gambling site.
As a result, the Defendant acted in collusion with H to offer property or property benefits to a person who correctly predicted the result by issuing sports promotion voting rights or similar things, and at the same time gambling for profit.
