Defendant shall be punished by a fine of five million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than an entrusted business entity, who is the Seoul Olympic Winter Games Foundation or the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and a person who is not an entrusted business entity, shall engage in an act of providing property or property benefits (hereinafter referred to as "similar act") to persons who win at the results of sports promotion by issuing sports promotion voting rights or things similar thereto, and no person shall publicize similar act, or mediate or arrange the purchase of sports promotion voting rights or things similar thereto.

Nevertheless, on January 2017, the Defendant, upon receiving a proposal from a person in a nameless manner, publicized various private sports discussions against many unspecified people in Korea, and allowed them to enter the Defendants’ recommended code at the time of the registration of the members of each sports entertainment site, he/she provided that he/she would pay part of the amount of the defeat (the amount which the members lose on board the sports games) or some of the amount of the betting amount (the amount which they lose on the sports games).

Since then, the Defendant was awarded each recommendation code from the operators of each sports entertainment site by using telephone or text messages (including B or other SNS), with the intent to publicize each gambling site to many and unspecified domestic unspecified people.

1. C site publicity and purchase mediation from January 2017 to April 2017, the Defendant promoted “C”, which is a private sports entertainment entertainment site, to many and unspecified domestic customers using telephone or text message, and had the Defendant register the Defendant’s recommended code (F,G) at the time of joining the said gambling site. By doing so, if the recruited members deposit the money to the account designated at the said gambling site, they received part of the amount of betting money from the operator of the said gambling site.

Accordingly, the defendant publicizeds similar acts or purchases sports promotion voting rights or similar things.
