Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 6,000,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, the amount of KRW 100,000 shall be paid.

Punishment of the crime

No person may intermediate another person's communication using telecommunications services provided by a telecommunications business operator, or provide another person's communication with such services. On January 23, 2020, the defendant received a proposal from an unqualified person to offer 2-30,000 won per each time he/she opened the core of his/her mobile phone from his/her name, and consented to such proposal, and deliver photographs, etc. of identification cards necessary for the opening of his/her mobile phone to the above unspecified person; as instructed by the above unqualified person, he/she installed a remote control program on his/her mobile phone to make him/her prepare an application for opening of his/her mobile phone in lieu of the name of the defendant; and upon receiving a new call confirming the opening of his/her mobile phone from the above telecommunications business operator, he/she let the unqualified person open his/her name in the name of the defendant from the date of the crime list to February 20, 202.

Accordingly, the defendant provided telecommunications services provided by telecommunications business operators for another's communications.
