1. Basic facts

A. The Plaintiff posted, on the Internet website (D) operated by C himself, a letter in the attached list (hereinafter “Plaintiff’s notice”) as “E”.

B. On April 23, 2014, the Defendant, a member of the National Assembly belonging to the F Party, urged “AC (Plaintiff) to be a planned G to cause the Sewol ferry accident as of May 18, 2018 on his own Facebook account. 2. The parties' assertion

A. The Defendant’s assertion that the Defendant posted the Defendant’s notice that the Plaintiff’s bereaved family members were G, thereby distorted the content of the Plaintiff’s notice, leading the Plaintiff to express false facts and criticize the Plaintiff, thereby impairing the Plaintiff’s reputation. As such, the Defendant is obliged to pay consolation money as compensation for mental distress to the Plaintiff.
