Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 3,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to engage in brokerage business shall register the establishment of a brokerage office to the head of a Si/Gun/Gu having jurisdiction over an area which intends to establish a brokerage office as prescribed by Ordinance of the Ministry

Nevertheless, on August 26, 2016, the Defendant arranged a sales contract of 20,000 square meters between the seller B and the buyer C, and transferred KRW 7 million from C to the Defendant’s agricultural bank account as a brokerage commission on the same day. At that time, the Defendant received KRW 500,000 from B as a cash brokerage commission.

Accordingly, the Defendant run the brokerage business without registering the establishment of the brokerage office to the competent authorities.
