A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

Punishment of the crime

B It is the representative director of C&A who supplies life jackets, waterproof clothes, etc. to the domestic shipbuilding yard and vicariously conducts safety inspections on safety equipment, such as glar life raft, etc. installed in a ship, and is the joint representative director of D&A who manufactures and supplies them to C/A. E is the joint representative director of D/C. F is the president of the new lighting team, who is the department that supplies life jackets, waterproof clothes, etc. of C/C to the domestic shipbuilding yard. The defendant is the head of C/C new lighting team, and G is the head of the safety facility team (SE team) who is the department that vicariously performs safety inspections on life raft, etc. installed in the ship of C/C.

The fraudulent C Co., Ltd. due to the supply of domestic life jackets from among the Defendants, B, E, and F had the crew and passengers aboard the ship in accordance with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 1974) from around 2010, supplied the life jackets and waterproof clothes (hereinafter “life jackets, etc.”) necessary for survival with D Co., Ltd. to supply them to the domestic shipbuilding company, and have them equipped with a new vessel’s safety equipment built from D et al. as a new vessel, while they wait for rescue with the crew and passengers aboard the ship in accordance with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 1974).

On the other hand, around 2010, D Co., Ltd., which supplies to a domestic shipbuilding yard, has obtained certification for various machinery and materials for vessels, such as life jackets for vessels of the MED European Union, marine pollution prevention facilities, navigational facilities, etc., and MED certification is made in compliance with MEB that guarantees the quality of the products themselves, such as materials, structure, and composition of the products, MarB, MarB that manufactures the products approved as MarB, MarB, and D that guarantees the process.
