Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,500,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to convert a mountainous district shall obtain permission from the Minister of the Korea Forest Service, etc. according to the classification of the types, areas, etc. of mountainous districts

Nevertheless, on March 2013, the Defendant damaged a forest of 1,382 square meters by using scrails, etc. for the purpose of opening access roads in the Gangnam-gun, Gangnam-gu, Seoul Special Metropolitan City without permission of the competent authority.
