Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 80,000.

When the defendant does not pay a fine, 10,000 won shall be converted into one day.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant held office from the end of July 2012 to November 12, 2015 as the president of the C Traditional Markets Association.

1. In order to revitalize traditional markets, the Korean Government Administration for the victims of fraud shall support C merchants' associations participating in the market EXPO held on a national scale and participating merchants' expenses for public relations goods, public relations incidentals, and compensation expenses for operation of helpers, etc.

The Defendant, by taking advantage of these points, intended to defraud the Defendant’s subsidy to be paid by the Gun Office as above, and prepared and submitted a written claim for compensation of operating expenses by a public official in charge of the Gun Office, even though he did not know that the Defendant participated in E, F, G, H, and I participated in the 9th anniversary of the fact that he did not work in the 9th anniversary of the fact.

Therefore, the Defendant had received KRW 2,119,00 from the victim by deceiving the victim as above, and transferred KRW 2,19,000 to the bank account, such as the above E, under the name of compensation around December 23, 2015.

2. On November 12, 2015, the Defendant, as the president of the Korea Traditional Market Merchant Association, arbitrarily withdrawn KRW 1,32,000, out of the balance of the said account from the C Saemaul Bank located in Chungcheongbuk-K on December 1, 2015, and embezzled it for personal purposes, using an opportunity to select a new enforcement division of the said merchant Association and not transfer the management right to the said account, while managing the Saemaul Depository’s account under the name of the C Traditional Markets Association, which is used in keeping the proceeds and operating expenses of the said Association as the president of the C Traditional Markets Association.
