Reasons
Punishment of the crime
Defendant A is an AI, the spouse of Defendant A, the name of the “AE” in the Seo-gu, Seoan-gu, Seoan-gu, Incheon.
(hereinafter the same shall apply)
A user who ordinarily employs five workers at all times and operates an installation company of semiconductor equipment, etc.
When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money and valuables within fourteen days after the cause for such payment occurred.
Defendant

When a worker retires, the employer shall pay wages, compensations, and all other money and valuables within 14 days from the date when the cause for such payment occurred, unless there exists an agreement between the parties on the extension of the due date.
Defendant
A worked at the said AE workplace from October 11, 2017, and was retired on March 19, 2018, and did not pay KRW 2,063,757 as of December 19, 2017, within 14 days from the date of retirement without an agreement between the parties on the extension of the due date, as shown in attached Table 2, as well as KRW 36,765,251, total amount of three workers’ wages, as shown in attached Table 2, within 14 days from the date of retirement without agreement between the parties on the extension of the due date.
