Defendant shall be punished by a fine of five million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

1. No person shall lend any access medium while receiving, demanding or promising any consideration in violation of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act;

Nevertheless, on October 20, 2017, the Defendant would offer KRW 2 million in cash if he/she lends a three-day passbook to the liquor company through a text message from the person who was in an irregular situation.

“In response to the proposal, at the convenience store in Jeju City, one physical card connected to the Agricultural Cooperative Account (D) in the name of the defendant was sent to the person without the name of the defendant, and the password was notified by telephone.

Accordingly, the defendant agreed to receive a price from a person who is not his/her name and lent his/her identification card and its password, which is an access medium.

Nevertheless, on August 2, 2017, the Defendant would pay 20,000 won per page to an influence person who became aware of via the Internet.

“In response to the proposal, by sending an identification card necessary for the establishment of a mobile phone, confirmation letter, etc. to the winners in a photograph, it was provided for another person’s communications using his/her telecommunications service in order for them to be used by the winners by opening a mobile phone (F) in the name of the Defendant to be used by them.
