A A shall be punished by a fine of KRW 4 million and by a fine of KRW 5 million, respectively.

The above fines are imposed by the Defendants.

Punishment of the crime

The Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation entrusted a sports promotion voting right business to a person who correctly predicted the outcome of sports to create the National Sports Promotion Fund, and a person, other than the entrusted business entity, shall not provide property or property benefits to a person who correctly predicted the outcome by issuing sports promotion voting rights or similar.

The operator of a personal gambling site from around September 201 to May 20, 2016: (a) opened a database server at an unspecified place; and (b) from May 20, 2016, the Internet gambling site C and D, a person who operated the said gambling site by changing his/her trade name from around May 20, 2016; (c) “total board” in which members of the said gambling site were recruited on September 2015; (d) Defendant A, from around September 2015 to around March 2016, “the head office” with recruited members; and (e) Defendant B, “the head office” with recruited members of the gambling site from around March 2016 to around March 2016; and (e) Defendant B, the head office of the pertinent gambling site as its member recruitment, management, and management,” and “the head office” with its member recruitment from the website (C).

The Defendants conspired with the operators of E, F, and personal gambling sites from the point of view to June 4, 2016, and receive approximately KRW 1,612,042,445 as the price of betting from members to the post office account (H), etc. in the name of G from the members, and let the members conduct betting on the “private bridge,” etc. in a way that it takes part in various sports events, such as a stable, camping tool, etc., and takes part in a sense that it takes part in a man or even if, and transfers the refund money to the above members who correctly predicted the result according to the game type, the Defendants provided property or property benefits to those who correctly predicted the result of sports promotion by issuing voting rights or any similar things.
