Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 3,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On March 3, 2016, the Defendant: (a) requested a police officer D to see the victim who stolen the iron from D, and (b) received a request to purchase the iron, which is owned by E; (c) provided that “transaction is cash, is not issued with various tax-related invoices; and (d) has to write down a letter of acceptance with D name”, the Defendant agreed to receive 10 won for good offices from D on the part of the State.

Accordingly, even if the Defendant knew of the fact that the said steel bars were the stolen goods in the Buddhist land at that time, the Defendant confirmed the intention of the president of “I” through H of “G”, a seller of steel products, to purchase 26.348 tons of steel bars under the aforementioned conditions, and sent it to D by telephone. On March 23, 2016, the Defendant assisted D to sell the said steel bars at KRW 11,593,000 in price to “I” operated by the J in J in the Chungcheongnam-si of Chungcheongnam-si, Chungcheongnam-si, a seller of steel products.

After being aware of the fact that the steel bars sold by D from the time to September 21, 2016 are stolen, the Defendant, as described in the list of crimes, shall arrange to sell the steel bars equivalent to the sum of KRW 192,771,600, the victim’s market price, through the above method, and received KRW 3,380,000 in total in return.

Accordingly, the defendant assisted the transfer of stolen goods.
