A Co., Ltd. is a multi-level selling company located in Seocho-gu Seoul, and C and D are higher sales clerks of Defendant A.

C around July 3, 2017, Defendant A received support allowances of KRW 19 million from Defendant A corporation, and then intended to maximize sales performance by using the above money. Then, the higher-ranking salesperson was urged to pay KRW 100,000 to the higher salesperson if the new salesperson purchases products equivalent to KRW 2 million by attracting one new assistant salesperson, and KRW 100,000 to the first salesperson if the new salesperson purchases products equivalent to KRW 2 million, and KRW 300,000 to the first salesperson if the new salesperson purchases products equivalent to KRW 2 million.

Accordingly, the defendant A's superior class sales causes C and D held a project explanation meeting for A's corporation and paid a total of 69,208,000 won for economic benefits other than bonuses to sales salespersons or prospective sales salespersons without justifiable grounds.
