Punishment of the crime

The organization of telecommunications-based financial fraud (hereinafter referred to as "one-time financial fraud") has been acquiring money from the victims by means of incentives to deliver or transfer money by deceiving victims by means of general responsibility, telephone, etc., and collecting measures to collect money from the victims.

On March 2020, the Defendant conspiredd to contact the telephone financial fraud assistance staff who became aware of through the Internet and to take charge of collection measures.

1. On March 18, 2020, on the part of 10:00 on March 18, 2020, the false statement stating that “The victim’s account was used in the fraud case, and all the money deposited in the victim’s account is withdrawn and delivered to our employees.” The victim led the victim to go to E in Eunpyeong-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government E on the same day.

The Defendant, at around 16:45 on the same day, had the victim met, while misrepresenting the Financial Supervisory Service’s F agency, sent a document of “civil petition for tracking a financial crime” under the name of the Chairperson of the Financial Services Commission, and received KRW 35,00,000 in cash from the victim.

Accordingly, the defendant was given property by deceiving the victim in collusion with the person who was not the party to the name.

2. On March 2020, the Defendant: (a) sent a file of “financial crime tracking civil petition” under the name of the Chairman of the Financial Services Commission from a person who was unaware of his/her name, and printed it by e-mail; and (b) gathered to use it for the crime of singing.

On March 2020, the Defendant printed out 10 copies of “financial crime track civil petition” in the name of the Chairman of the said Financial Services Commission, which was transmitted by using a local slot machine from a person under whose name the Defendant was named, at any text store located in Gyeyang-gu, Seoyang-gu, Seoyang-gu.
