A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

[Public invitation] A person who is not a national sports promotion corporation and an entrusted business entity shall not engage in an act of offering property or property benefits to those who win the results of the promotion of sports by issuing voting rights or similar things.

Nevertheless, by sharing roles with D, E, etc., the Defendant intended to participate in the business of operating the Internet illegal sports soil site to many unspecified domestic unspecified persons using the overseas server and take profits therefrom; D, E, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, through its domestic employees, takes charge of the operation of the Internet illegal sports soil site through its employees employed in Korea; the Defendant provided the employees' interview to be sent to the above office in Korea and the large-scale passbook to be used for the operation of the above gambling site; and the Defendant and other accomplices engaged in management and disposal of the proceeds deposited in the above gambling site by withdrawing and selling the proceeds deposited in the above gambling site operation account; according to D and E’s instructions, the Defendant and other accomplices engaged in resolving the board and lodging in the above gambling site at the above overseas office and engaged in the business of filling and filling game money of the gambling site, registering the schedule of sports games and winning results, registering the bulletin board and customer management.

[2] The Defendant: (a) conspired with D, E in sequential order, from July 2014 to August 3, 2015; and (b) opened and operated “F (G, H, I, etc.)” (hereinafter “F”) which is an Internet illegal sports soil site using an overseas server according to the role assigned to other accomplices; (c) opened and operated an office established in the city of Cheongdo, Indonesia, and Vietnam, from March 24, 2016 to March 29, 2017, at the office established in China, from March 24, 2016 to March 29, 2017.
