Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1,500,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant, as the actual manager of E in the wife population D in Young-si, the Defendant is an employer who runs a manufacturing business (household) using nine full-time workers.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money and valuables within fourteen days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Provided, That the date may be extended by an agreement between the parties in extenuating circumstances.

Nevertheless, the Defendant did not pay KRW 9,065,698, which was the sum of KRW 1,236,100 in July 2018, which had worked at the said workplace from December 5, 2017 to October 10, 2018, KRW 3,479,00 in August 2018, KRW 2,930,720 in September 2018, and KRW 1,419,878 in October 2018, within 14 days from the date of retirement without an agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment date.
