1. As to KRW 9,500,000 and KRW 5,250,00 among them, the Defendant shall pay for KRW 9,50,000 from December 8, 2016, and KRW 250,000 from December 8, 2016.

1. Basic facts

A. On February 24, 1999, the Plaintiff entered into an insurance contract (hereinafter “instant contract”) with the Defendant on the following terms: (a) on February 24, 204, with the maturity of the Defendant and the beneficiary of the insured and the insurance proceeds, (b) general cancer diagnosis funds of 2,50,000 won for the first time after the date of liability commencement; (c) 250,000 general cancer income compensation for five years from the date of each month diagnosis and determination; (d) 60 times after the date of liability commencement; and (e) on the first time after the date of diagnosis and determination; and (e) paid KRW 2,50,000 for the first time for the medical treatment of cancer; and (e) for the direct purpose of treatment of cancer, the Plaintiff paid the insurance premium.

B. Of the insurance terms and conditions of the instant contract, the content pertaining to the instant case is as follows.

Article 4 (Definition and Diagnosis Confirmation of Cancer) (1) In this Agreement, the term "cancer" means any disease (see attached Table 3, e.g., Table 3) classified as malicious life in the Korean Standard Disease Classification.

(3) The diagnosis and confirmation of cancer shall be made by a person who holds a certificate of professional doctor's license of autopsy pathology or clinical pathology, and this diagnosis shall be based on the present opinion about organization or blood examination.

However, if it is not possible to conduct the above pathological diagnosis, the clinical diagnosis of cancer is admitted as evidence of cancer.

(Annex 3) In the Korea Standard Disease Classification Clause, the diseases classified as new organisms in the upper half of which are the lesser of the following diseases in the Korea Standard Disease Classification Classification Clause of the Maternal Organism Classification Table (Enforcement Date of Statistics Korea Notice No. 1993-3, January 1, 1995), as amended.
