Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant A

A. From March 16, 2014 to July 21, 2015, the Defendant committed the crime: (a) from around March 16, 2014 to around July 21, 2015, the Defendant deposited game money with J, K, and members; (b) deposited the said game money to operate the Internet illegal gambling site by transferring it to the members’ account after predicting the result of the sports competition; and (c) opened the “L” and “M”, which are the Internet illegal gambling site from around March 16, 2014 to around July 21, 2015; (d) the Defendant was working as the team leader; (e) deposited on the bulletin board site; (e.g., adjustment of real-time rate of distribution; (e., TM business; (e) deposited money with members; and (e) deposited money from 2060 to 370 times the said game money to 15 times the amount of money deposited into the said website; (e.g., 2015 times the game money deposited.

Accordingly, the Defendant, in collusion with J, K, etc., provided property to those who win the result by issuing sports promotion voting rights or similar things, and opened gambling space for profit-making purposes, even though it is not an entrusted business entity with the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation.

B. From July 28, 2015 to June 2017, the Defendant: (a) deposited money with N,O, etc. from around July 28, 2015 to around June 2017: (b) deposited money with the members; (c) deposited game money acquired by the members after predicting the outcome of the sports competition; and (d) opened an online illegal gambling site in succession to operate the online gambling site by transferring it to the accounts of its members; and (e) the Defendant opened a “P,” etc., an online illegal gambling site from around July 28, 2015 to December 9, 2016 at Vietnam.
