Defendant shall be punished by a fine of one million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to fell standing timber in a forest shall obtain permission from the head of the competent Si/Gun/Gu or the head of the competent regional forest office.

Nevertheless, around March 2014, the Defendant cut 7 weeks of pine trees and 60 pak trees of pine trees without obtaining permission from a forest owned by another person located in the Republic of Korea-U.S. B or C.
