피고인은 2018. 10. 3. 18:35경 부산 중구 B에 있는 'C' 커피숍 내에서, 손님인 피해자 D와 피해자 E가 흡연실로 담배를 피러 간 사이에 커피숍 의자 위에 놓아둔 피해자 D 소유의 시가 50만 원 상당의 검정색 숄더백과 그 안에 보관 중이던 시가 130만 원 상당의 루이비통 지갑 1개, 현금 3만 원, 운전면허증 1장, 부산은행카드 1장 및 이와 함께 보관 중이던 피해자 E 소유의 시가 100만 원 상당의 샤넬 지갑 1개, 10만 원권 수표 1장, 현금 4만5천 원, 운전면허증 1장, 주민등록증 1장, 신한 체크카드 3장 등 합계 297만5천 원 상당을 몰래 가지고 나가는 방법으로 절취하였다.
