A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.
However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.
Punishment of the crime
Defendant
A is an Internet computer game facility provider that operates a "EPC bank" on the 2th floor of Sii-si, Sii-si.
On July 2013, the Defendant: (a) purchased a game machine and a game server from “G”, which is a game developer of the said “F,” and (b) induced many unspecified customers to engage in a horse game at the said game site by creating and distributing a horse game leaflet to attract customers.
On the other hand, the above game products purchased merchandise coupons at the store room of each member store and converted them into game money, and obtained a "gold" by betting a certain amount of money for each online game participant and playing a horse game, and then offered them for use in a way to exchange the gold with cash by contact with the exchange merchants Handphone users posted on the game screen.
As above, the Defendant joined the said “EPC Bank” as a member store from August 12, 2013 to October 22, 2013, and installed 20 game machine from around August 12, 2013, advertised the horse game in the above manner and entices users, and knew that the “gold”, which is the result obtained by the users from the horse game, was exchanged in cash on the screen of the said game product through an influent exchange, posted a mobile phone number (H).
Accordingly, the Defendant used game products to allow others to gamble or perform other speculative acts, or left alone to do so.
