피고인은 2017. 10. 13. 14:25 경 B 노선버스 차량을 운전하고 서울 강남구 우성아파트 사거리를 강남 역 방면에서 뱅뱅 사거리 방면으로 편도 6 차로 중 1차로 버스 전용도로를 따라 불상의 속도로 진행하는 과정에서, 전방 차량 신호등이 좌회전 신호였음에도 신호를 위반하여 직진한 과실로 피고인 운전차량 우측 범퍼 부분으로 진행 방향 우측 3 차로에서 신호에 따라 좌회전 하는 C 레이 승용차의 좌측 앞 범퍼 부분을 충돌하는 교통사고를 야기하였다.
