A. On August 2, 2006, D lent KRW 35,000,00 to the Defendants on a due date set at KRW 1.5% of the interest rate on August 2, 2007 and August 2, 2007. On December 30, 2015, D transferred the Defendants’ claim for the principal and interest of the loan to the Plaintiff, and notified the Defendants of the said transfer on June 20, 2017. The notice reached the Defendants on July 25, 2017.

B. Accordingly, the Plaintiff sought the payment of the above amount from the Defendants.

(A) The Plaintiff filed a claim for the payment of damages for delay calculated from August 2, 2007. However, since the due date under the said monetary loan contract is August 2, 2007, the starting date of the damages for delay is August 3, 2007, which is the day following the due date for payment.
