According to the records, the defendant appealed against the judgment of the first instance and asserted only unfair sentencing as the grounds for appeal.

In this case, the argument that the judgment below erred in the misapprehension of legal principles as to the Public Official Election Act is not a legitimate ground for appeal.

Furthermore, even after examining the judgment of the court of first instance, there is no error in the judgment of the court below as alleged in the grounds of appeal.

Therefore, the appeal is dismissed. It is so decided as per Disposition by the assent of all participating Justices on the bench.
