If the defendant fails to pay the above fine, 50,000 won shall be one day.

The defendant is a person who manufactures and sells lighting fixtures with the trade name of Ilyang-dong, Busan Metropolitan City C.

Any person who intends to manufacture electrical appliances subject to safety certification as a business or manufacture in a foreign country and export them to the Republic of Korea shall obtain safety certification by model of electrical appliances subject to safety certification from a safety certification institution.

Nevertheless, during the period from January 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009, the Defendant manufactured and sold 309,675,800 won in total, by manufacturing and selling 5,097 lighting fixtures that did not receive safety certification, as shown in the attached list of crimes, at the above “C” factory, without safety certification from the competent authorities.
