Where a case is closed after May 31, 2019 pursuant to Article 2(2) of the Addenda (Presidential Decree No. 29768, May 21, 2019) as the provisions governing statutory interest rates under the main sentence of Article 3(1) of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings for Partial Dismissal were amended by Presidential Decree No. 29768, May 21, 2019, the former statutory interest rate of 15% per annum from May 31, 2019; and 12% per annum from June 1, 2019 to the statutory interest rate under the amended provisions.

In this case, since the pleading was concluded after May 31, 2019 and the duplicate of the complaint was served on July 30, 2019, the payment of damages for delay calculated at the rate of 12% per annum from July 31, 2019 to the day of complete payment, the day following the delivery of the duplicate of the complaint, shall be ordered.
