A and B Co., Ltd. shall be punished by a fine of two million won, and each fine of one million won shall be imposed on Defendant C and D Co., Ltd.

1. Defendant A is a business owner who runs a manufacturing chain B with eight full-time employees in the Seo-gu, Seo-gu, Gwangju, and the second floor.

Where a business owner installs protective devices equipped with the operation safety devices and identification safety devices to prevent the physical parts of workers who work using presses from entering a dangerous system, he/she shall maintain the relevant transition location, etc. at all times in a valid state with regard to the administrative transition location, the transition location, etc. of protective devices.

Nevertheless, on June 6, 2012, Defendant A did not take safety measures on the part of the injured party G who was working using presses in the workplace of D Co., Ltd. located in Gwangju Mine-gu on June 8, 2012, due to the failure to maintain the transition location of administration and the transition location of protective devices in a valid state, thereby being affected by a brupted injury.

2. Defendant B Co., Ltd. did not take safety measures as set forth in paragraph (1) with respect to the Defendant’s business.

3. Defendant C is a business owner who operates a manufacturing chain D Co., Ltd. with 75 full-time employees at the workplace located in Gwangju Mine-gu F.

Where a business owner installs protective devices equipped with the operation safety devices and identification safety devices to prevent the physical parts of workers who work using presses from entering a dangerous system, he/she shall maintain the relevant transition location, etc. at all times in a valid state with regard to the administrative transition location, the transition location, etc. of protective devices.

Nevertheless, Defendant C did not maintain the place of conversion of presses administration, and the place of conversion of protective devices in a valid state when employees G belonging to Company B who contracted presses work inside the workplace of D Co., Ltd. located in Gwangju Mine-gu, on June 6, 2012, around 8:00 a.m..
