1. The Defendant shall pay to the Plaintiff KRW 23,917,688 as well as 20% per annum from June 18, 2015 to the day of full payment.
The plaintiff provided labor under employment from January 13, 2014 to June 3, 2015 to the defendant who runs his/her place of business at his/her domicile, and retired from office. Therefore, the Defendant is obligated to pay the Plaintiff the aforementioned unpaid wages of KRW 23,917,688 and damages for delay calculated at the rate of 20% per annum from June 18, 2015 to the date of full payment, which is 14 days after the day following the retirement day. Thus, the Plaintiff’s claim for this case is justified and it is so decided as per Disposition by the assent of all participating Justices.
