Basic Facts

The Plaintiff as a party is a corporation with the objective of producing and selling books, records, and other publications, and importing and selling foreign publications. The Plaintiff entered into a contract for exclusive sales in Korea with the U.K. C. and the above university publishing division. The Defendant is a corporation with the purpose of publishing books, book and learning paper wholesale and retail business, private teaching institute operation business, etc.

1) On January 23, 2015, the Plaintiff entered into a contract on the sales of books of this case (hereinafter “instant sales agreement”) with the Defendant for the supply of ELT books related to English education (English Ling”).

(3) The term of validity of this contract is from February 1, 2015 to January 31, 2020, the term of validity of this contract shall be extended automatically, unless there is a written objection in writing not later than three months prior to the expiration of the contract, provided that Article 3 (Goods and Goods Supply Obligations) (1) The kinds of goods supplied to B may not be sold separately, and the goods supplied to B may be added by agreement to B during the period of the contract, and the goods supplied to B may be returned to B by no later than the end of February 1, 2015, and the goods supplied to B may be returned to the end of May 1, 2015 to the end of May 14, 202.
