A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.
However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.
Punishment of the crime
When it is intended to import or export goods, the name, standard, quantity and price of the relevant goods, and other matters prescribed by Presidential Decree shall be reported to the head of a customs office.
On August 2015, the Defendant would pay KRW 400,000 to the Defendant only under the pretext of pure transportation, excluding air ticket charges, accommodation charges, and transportation expenses, when transporting gold bars purchased from China to China without reporting to customs office “D” from China (hereinafter “D”) to Korea or by transporting gold bars purchased from Japan to Korea.
