1. The Defendant: (a) KRW 60,00,000 for the Plaintiff and the Plaintiff’s 6% per annum from January 1, 2018 to May 21, 2019; and (b) May 22, 2019.

Statement of Claim: The Defendant, the owner of the new construction of the Seosan-si D Multi-Family Housing Corporation, agreed to pay the steel root price and the accrued construction cost to KRW 60 million by December 31, 2017. Thus, the Defendant’s claim for the payment of the damages for delay calculated from January 1, 2018, which is the date following the above 60 million won and the due date (the Plaintiff claimed for the payment of damages for delay calculated at the rate of 15% per annum from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2018, but the above ratio applies from the date following the date when the complaint or other equivalent document is served on the obligor (Article 3(1) of the above Act), and the Defendant’s claim for the payment of damages for delay calculated at the rate of 6% per annum under the Commercial Act (Article 3(2) of the above Act). By public notice, the judgment by publication is rendered by publication under Article 208(3)3(3) of the Civil Procedure Act.
