The defendant is a person who actually operated a stock company C.

On August 8, 2014, the Defendant made a false statement on the following grounds: “The Korean International Cooperation Organization, a government agency, has participated in a tendering procedure for the supply of medical devices for public development assistance projects where the Korea Telecommunication Organization, installs the medical equipment at Cambodian Salian Hospital, and received the right to supply medical devices, the Defendant would receive the cost of the medical equipment from the International Cooperation Organization of the Republic of Korea and receive the cost of the medical equipment from the Korea International Cooperation Organization.”

However, due to the bad credit standing of 1.5 billion won or more at the time, C had no intention or ability to pay the price in time, even if it receives medical equipment from the victim company.

Nevertheless, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, was supplied with medical equipment equivalent to KRW 62,189,50 on September 20, 2014 from the victim.
