1. The Defendant shall pay to the Plaintiff KRW 70,00,000 and the interest rate of KRW 20% per annum from May 31, 2017 to the day of complete payment.
Reasons
1. On April 28, 2017, the Defendant agreed to the Plaintiff that “if the Plaintiff repaid KRW 70,000,000 borrowed from the Plaintiff until May 30, 2017 and delays the payment, the Defendant shall pay damages for delay calculated at the rate of 20% per annum.” However, even after the maturity date, the Defendant did not pay the said agreed amount.
2. Articles 208 (3) 3 and 194 through 196 of the Civil Procedure Act of the applicable provisions of Acts (a judgment where the defendant is notified of the date by public notice and fails to appear on the date for pleading);
