Examining the reasoning in light of the relevant legal principles and evidence duly admitted, the lower court did not err in its judgment by exceeding the bounds of the principle of free evaluation of evidence in violation of logical and empirical rules, or by misapprehending the legal doctrine on “mediation” as prescribed by the former Licensed Real Estate Agents’ Business Affairs and Report of Real Estate Transactions Act (amended by Act No. 12374, Jan. 28, 2014; before the statutory name was changed to the Licensed Real Estate Agent Act)
The Supreme Court precedents cited by the Defendant as the grounds for final appeal are different from this case, and thus are inappropriate to be invoked in this case.
Therefore, the appeal is dismissed. It is so decided as per Disposition by the assent of all participating Justices on the bench.
