1. The plaintiff's claim is dismissed.
2. The costs of lawsuit shall be borne by the Plaintiff.
1. Details of the disposition;
A. On January 16, 1984, the Plaintiff was appointed as a fire-fighting officer, and retired on June 30, 2014 from office in several fire stations located in Busan.
B. After retirement, the Plaintiff diagnosed chronic pulmonary diseases, such as chronic pulmonary diseases, expansion of engine organs, pulmonary diseases, and chronic organ infection (hereinafter “the instant injury”). The Plaintiff asserted that the instant injury and disease occurred due to a fire officer’s inhalement of toxic gases in the fire site, etc., and filed an application for registration with the person of distinguished service to the State.
C. On January 27, 2015, following the deliberation and resolution of the Board of Patriots and Veterans Entitlement, the Defendant rejected the Plaintiff’s registration of persons of distinguished services to the State and persons of distinguished services to the State under the Act on the Honorable Treatment and Support of Persons, etc. of Distinguished Services to the State (hereinafter “Act on Persons of Distinguished Services to the State”) on the ground that “the instant injury and disease is not considered to have aggravated rapidly above the development or the level of natural progress due to the direct cause of performance of duties or education and training directly related to national defense, national security, or the protection of people’s life and property, or that the occurrence of duties or education and training, which are not directly related to national security or the protection of people’s life and are not considered to have deteriorated rapidly above the speed of natural progress.”

A. The plaintiff's assertion is a fire-fighting officer who continues to perform his/her fire-fighting duties.
