The Defendant is a person who operates food service business in the name of “Ccafeteria” in Kimcheon-si B.

A person who sells or provides agricultural and fishery products or the processed products thereof after cooking shall not place a false indication of the place of origin or place a mark likely to cause confusion therewith.

Nevertheless, from January 7, 2015 to April 15, 2015, the Defendant purchased 6,500 won per kilograms of the U.S. swine scrap batteries at the above restaurant, and prepared them at the Swins’ expense, and sold them to many unspecified customers at KRW 8,000 per kilograms, and displayed a false indication of origin on the signboard within the business establishment as “domestic acid”.
