As the provisions on statutory interest rate in the main sentence of Article 3(1) of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings for Part-Time 3 Grounds for Appeal by Publication (Article 208(3)3 of the Civil Procedure Act) were amended and promulgated on May 21, 2019 and enforced on June 1, 2019, the interest rate shall be 15% per annum until May 31, 2019 and 12% per annum from the following day to the date of full payment, and the excess portion shall be dismissed.
