A. On November 5, 2002, the Plaintiff lent KRW 1,000,000,000 to the Defendant on March 10, 2003, the Plaintiff prepared a notarial deed stating that the Defendant and the Defendant bear the Defendant’s obligation to pay interest of KRW 1,00,000,000 and the damages for delay as of March 10, 2003.

B. After receiving some of the money from the Defendant, the Plaintiff exempted the Defendant from the principal amount of KRW 700,000,000, interest and delay damages amount of KRW 100,000,000.

C. The Plaintiff only claimed a loan of KRW 300,000,000 (=1,000,000,000 - KRW 700,000,000) and damages for delay from the day following the delivery date of a copy of the complaint.
