Defendant shall be punished by a fine of eight million won.
If the defendant fails to pay the above fine, 50,000 won shall be one day.
Punishment of the crime
The defendant is a person who has worked as a trading member in the previous week B or C Trading Company.
1. No person who violates the Automobile Management Act shall alter the odometer of a motor vehicle except for the alteration due to malfunction, damage, or any other unavoidable reason prescribed by Presidential Decree;
On November, 2008, the Defendant removed the meter board of the E Costex 236,614 km from the B’s parking lot located in YY-gu Seoul Special Self-Governing Province at the end of the end of November, 2008, and changed the odometer vehicle mileage to the meter board of the same model purchased at the front week’s scrapping site, and changed the odometer vehicle mileage to 232,000 km without permission.
From that time until May 8, 2010, the Defendant changed the odometer of the total eight vehicles without permission by the same method, as shown in the annexed list of crimes, from that time to that time.
2. Around 14:00 on December 2, 2009, the Defendant: (a) changed the odometer of Gpoter II to 118,800km with the odometer 186,759km in the same manner as the above “A” from the Plaintiff’s trading company located in YY-gu Seoul Special Self-Governing Province, on December 14, 2009; (b) subsequently, the Defendant made a false statement to the victim H (Nam, 35 years of age) who purchased a used vehicle to the said trading company to the effect that the actual odometer of the said vehicle was about 118,800km; and (c) received KRW 6,00,000 from the said H and sold the said vehicle to the same amount.
