However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

On August 24, 2016, the Defendant was sentenced to a suspended sentence of two years for six months, and the judgment was finalized on May 18, 2017.

1. No person, other than an entrusted business entity, who violates the National Sports Promotion Act and a gambling space in Seoul Olympic Games, or a national sports promotion corporation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who correctly predicted the outcome of sports promotion by issuing voting rights or things similar thereto, and no person shall open a space for gambling for the purpose of profit;

Nevertheless, the Defendant, as well as D, E, F, etc., conducted sports betting in order to operate a sports gambling site G (H, etc.) in which he/she gets or has lost game money according to the result of the sports game, and offered the sports gambling site G (H, etc.) in a successive manner. According to the above public offering, D, a general manager of the above gambling site, F, a management of the match money of the above gambling site, E, and I, a public relations of the above gambling site, and the Defendant took charge of the management of the customer bulletin board of the above gambling site.

From June 18, 2015 to September 6, 2015, the Defendant, while operating the said gambling site, received a total of KRW 2,124,230,71 from June 18, 2015 to August 17, 2015 as stated in the list of crimes in the attached Table, and deposited KRW 2,124,230,771 in each gambling, as a result, before a domestic or foreign sports event, such as a axis, camping district, farming district, and fishing district, and operated a private sports gambling site by betting a certain amount of money, along with a prediction, before the event is held. A member who recorded the betting book in accordance with the actual sports result, paid a game money according to the fixed dividend rate, and then exchanged it in cash thereafter.

Accordingly, the defendant, in collusion with D, engages in acts similar to the issuance of sports promotion voting rights, and at the same time engage in gambling for profit.
