Punishment of the crime
No person shall provide funds, land, or buildings to sexual traffic, knowing that they are provided for sexual traffic.
The Defendant, as a manager, had concluded a lease contract by paying a monthly rent of KRW 50,000 per month from the lessor, including heading 514, 631, 1119, 1126, 1217, and 1512 of the Dong-gu Seoul Special Metropolitan City B, Goyang-si, the Defendant was in the position of lessee who again leased the said officetel at the monthly rent of KRW 10,000 per month to KRW 60-650,000 per month (sub-lease). From around May of 2016, the Defendant leased the said officetel to C at the monthly rent of KRW 60-650,000 per month.
On August 2, 2016, the Defendant: (a) the instant officetel 1119, the monthly rent of C, controlled by suspicion of engaging in sexual traffic mediation; and (b) the same month.
5. He/she heard that the police is used for the brokerage business of commercial sex acts, and he/she again saw that the officetel 514 was controlled by the suspicion of commercial sex acts, and is used for the brokerage business of commercial sex acts on September 28, 2016 during the investigation, and continuously leased the rest of the officetel Nos. 631, 1126, 127, and 1512 each month after being aware that the officetel leased by C was provided for commercial sex acts, until November 9, 2016.
As a result, the defendant provided a building for business with knowledge of the fact that sexual traffic is provided to the defendant.
