Punishment of the crime
[Attachment] From August 10, 2019 to August 28, 2019, the Defendant installed five computers at “CPC bank” located in Seongbuk-gu Seoul, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and provided them with game products, such as “magach,” which was rated to prevent the game by selecting a specific counterpart, or by designating a certain counterpart.
【Criminal Facts】
1. No person who uses or provides game products, the contents of which are different from those of the game products rated, shall provide such game products for the distribution or use, or display or keep the same for such purposes;
Nevertheless, at around 23:10 on August 27, 2019, the Defendant charged KRW 70,000 with game money in cash from a police officer who pretended to be a user, and then lost the game money by using the secret protection channel of the free game channel of “magan” (a continuous blood transfusion).
As a result, the defendant provided game products with contents different from the game products rated.
2. No money changers of game outcomes shall arrange for money exchange or exchange or repurchase with other tangible or intangible results obtained through the use of game products by a person.
Nevertheless, at around 00:13 on August 28, 2019, the Defendant returned to KRW 45,000 in cash by converting the remaining points of 44,042 unemployed with the game money filled in as above into KRW 70,000 per 10,000 in cash.
Accordingly, the defendant committed an act of exchanging intangible results obtained through the use of game products.
