[criminal records] Defendant A was sentenced to a fine of KRW 10 million for habitual gambling at the Chuncheon District Court on June 20, 2001, and was sentenced to a total of seven times for the same crime. Defendant B was sentenced to a suspended sentence of six months for habitual gambling in the Cheongju District Court on January 14, 2016, and was sentenced to a suspended sentence of six months for the same crime, and the judgment became final and conclusive on January 22, 2016, and was punished for the same crime, including those under the suspended sentence of four times in total.

[Criminal facts]

1. The Defendants: (a) opened a gambling house; (b) opened the gambling house; and (c) agreed to receive a certain amount of money from those who receive money from gambling in return for the gambling; and (d) opened the gambling house, and (e) let those who receive money from gambling.

Accordingly, Defendant A, by telephone to H, leased 1,50,000 won per day from the J to the manager of the first floor office of the I building in Echeon-si I.S. and was aware of it.

The contact with K, L, M, N,O, P, Q, etc. for gambling to the above location, and Defendant B was aware of that location.

Contact with R, S, etc., and gambling was made to the same place.

On August 24, 2017, from around 01:00 to around 02:30 of the same day, the Defendants gather 20 persons in the above office, and have them wear 4 amps in 20 through 20 chapters among the 48 pages, and then, 1 amps out of the remaining 3 amps (referring to a person holding a large amount of gambling fund and gambling for the remaining people) with the exception of 1 amps allocated to Durler at will. The Defendants selected 1 amps within the limit of a total amount of 2 amps and selected 10 to 20 amps from among 5 amps of their own choice, and discarded 10 to 20 amps in the way of “a high level of satisfaction” as determined in advance.
