Punishment of the crime
The defendant is a person who employs approximately fifty full-time workers in Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government G and operates a F Hospital.

1. The Defendant in violation of the Labor Standards Act did not pay KRW 837,890,00,000, which was retired from his/her service at the above hospital from May 16, 201 to September 1, 2013, within 14 days from the date of the retirement without an agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment date.
2. The Defendant in violation of the Guarantee of Workers’ Retirement Benefits Act did not pay KRW 5,201,360 of H’s retirement pay to the Defendant who was operating the F Hospital at the same time and place as described in paragraph (1) without any agreement on extension of the due date between the parties concerned.

1. From May 16, 201 to December 1, 2013, the Defendant violated the Labor Standards Act: (a) the Defendant did not pay KRW 6,819,490 of the I’s wages to six workers within 14 days from the date of retirement without agreement on the extension of the payment date between the parties; and (b) the Defendant did not pay KRW 33,312,730 of the wages and annual allowances to the six workers within 14 days from the date of retirement, as indicated in the crime list; (c) the Defendant violated the Act on the Guarantee of Workers’ Retirement Benefits, without agreement on the extension of the payment date between the parties.
