A shall be punished by a fine of KRW 3,000,00, and by a fine of KRW 1,500,000, respectively.

The above fine is imposed against the Defendants.

Defendant

A was elected as a candidate belonging to L party in the Gangseo-gu Busan Metropolitan City Election of Council Members(H, I, J, and K) of Gangseo-gu Busan Metropolitan City Council Members (H, I, J, and K), which was implemented on June 4, 2014, and Defendant B is the chairperson of the M Residents Countermeasures Committee.

1. Except for cases where allowances, actual expenses, and other benefits are provided under the Public Official Election Act, no one shall offer, express an intention to offer, or promise to offer money, goods, or other benefits in connection with the election campaign regardless of the pretext such as allowances, actual expenses, compensation for volunteer service, etc., and members of the National Assembly, members of local council, heads of local governments, representatives of local governments, representatives of political parties, candidates and their spouses shall also not make contributions to persons in the relevant constituency or institutions, organizations, facilities, or other persons, institutions, organizations, or facilities having relations with electors even if they

Nevertheless, at around 21:00 on May 29, 2014, Defendant A called “B” with a name tag for election campaign at the seat of the NO located in Gangseo-gu Busan Metropolitan Government, stating that “I am different from I am with a name tag,” and “I am am. I am am. I am am. I am. B with a name tag for election campaign,” and “(M residents)” with a bag containing KRW 500,000 in cash at the seat of the aforementioned Green Cross.

As a result, Defendant A provided B with money and valuables other than those that can be provided in accordance with the Public Official Election Act in relation to election campaign.

2. Defendant B

(a) No one shall receive money, valuables, or other benefits in connection with an election campaign regardless of the pretext such as allowances, actual expenses, compensation for volunteers, etc., or accept a manifestation of an intention to offer such benefits, except where he/she provides allowances, actual expenses, or other benefits under the Public Official Election Act;
