Defendant A Co., Ltd. shall pay KRW 100,000 each to the Plaintiffs listed in the separate sheet No. 2 list, and as to this, July 1, 2013.

Reasons

Basic Facts

Defendant A, B, and C are corporations engaged in businesses such as credit cards, pre-paid cards, debit cards, issuance, sale, and management, and D companies (hereinafter “D”) are corporations incorporated jointly by financial institutions, which are engaged in businesses such as credit inquiry and credit investigation as prescribed by the Use and Protection of Credit Information Act.

The Plaintiffs indicated in the list No. 1 are all of the Plaintiffs in the instant case, and the Plaintiffs related to Defendant A among the entire Plaintiffs in the instant case are as shown in the separate sheet No. 2, and where all of the Plaintiffs related to Defendant B were leaked on April 2, 2010 and December 2013 from among the Plaintiffs related to Defendant B, the separate list No. 3-1, and where only December 2013 was leaked, the separate list No. 3-2, and the separate list No. 4, respectively.

(hereinafter) The Plaintiffs indicated in the separate sheet 2 are the Plaintiffs indicated in the separate sheet 1 Plaintiffs and the separate sheet 3-1 Plaintiffs, “The Plaintiffs indicated in the separate sheet 2-2 Plaintiffs, and the separate sheet 3-2 Plaintiffs indicated in the separate sheet 2-2 Plaintiffs, “the third Plaintiffs,” and the separate sheet 2-1 Plaintiffs and the separate sheet 2-2 Plaintiffs together with Defendant A, B, and C were used or used by credit cards, etc. after concluding a contract for use and financial transactions with Defendant A, B, and C.

The concept of the card accident analysis system and the introduction card accident analysis system ("FDS") are introduced by all domestic credit card companies as a system to detect abnormal transactions or fraudulent use due to theft, loss, forgery, etc. of credit cards. According to the FDS, the analysis model is made based on statistical techniques using large amount of card use information and customer information based on past accident transactions.
