[Defendant A] The defendant shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for ten months and by a fine of eight million won.

Defendant
A is a full-time professor of D University located in Busan, E, and Defendant B is a professor of D University E in Busan.
As above, the Defendants, as a professor of D University, were in charge of duties such as the essay guidance for graduate students, the examination of doctoral degree claim papers, and E-related research.
1. Defendant A was selected as an examiner upon recommendation of five members, including the Defendant, who is a guidance professor, in relation to the examination of a request for degree from a graduate school in the year 201 of D University.
On May 14, 2011, the Defendant stated that, “Around May 14, 2011, the Defendant claimed a dissertation from the professor room of the Defendant at the above D University,” saying, “In order to examine the thesis, the Defendant must take personnel of the examiners.”

5. From around 16. Around November 24, 2017, the Defendant’s professor room received KRW 300,000 from F, from around 13 to around November 24, 2017, an aggregate of KRW 13,90,000,00 in the name of the thesis review expense, as shown in Appendix I, from around 13.
As a result, the Defendant received a total of KRW 13.9 million in relation to the duties related to the examination of the thesis.
2. Defendant B was selected as an examiner upon recommendation of five members, including the Defendant, who is a guidance professor, in relation to the examination of a draft of degree request for a graduate school in the year 201 of D University.
On May 17, 2011, the Defendant stated that, “Around May 17, 2011, the Defendant applied for a dissertation at the Defendant’s professor’s office located in the said D University, the Defendant “Adraw up for cash preparation with four members, each of KRW 1 million as map professor and KRW 500,000 as map professor.”
5. From around 19.19 to November 23, 2015, the Plaintiff received KRW 3 million in cash from G from the professor room of the above Defendant and received KRW 8 million in total under the name of the thesis review expense, as shown in Appendix II, from 4 until November 23, 2015.
Accordingly, the defendant's total amount of eight million won in relation to the duties related to the examination of thesis.
