A shall be punished by a fine for negligence of KRW 3,000,000, and by a fine of KRW 2,000,000.

The Defendants respectively.

Defendant

A is the head of the investigation team at the Gyeongnam regional headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation from February 1, 2012 to July 17, 2015, and Defendant B has served as a half of the same department from February 10, 2009 to January 19, 2015, respectively.

The Defendants, while taking charge of the investigation necessary for six projects, such as “D,” employed daily workers to assist them in the field investigation, and to pay lodging expenses, meal expenses, meal expenses, etc. accordingly, or to prepare expenses necessary for holding a briefing session for residents, filed a claim against the victim Korean Rural Community Corporation for the excessive payment of the benefits of daily workers, and subsequently recruited to return the excessive benefits received from the relevant daily workers to the victim Korean workers.

The Defendants: (a) at the regional headquarters of the Korea Rural Community Corporation located in 290 as the site of the counter of Changwon-si around September 26, 2012, the Defendants merely worked for eight days for eight days from August 14, 2012 to September 14, 2012 by the daily worker E; (b) demanded the victim to pay an excessive amount of KRW 716,040 to the said E; and (c) again, received the money from the said E via the Agricultural Cooperative (G) account in the name of the NAF in the name of the Defendant via the said NAF account; and (d) from that time, the Defendants received the excessive payment from the employees for eight days in the above manner, as shown in the attached list of crimes, from October 7, 2014 to the said excessive payment.

The Defendants conspired to induce the victim and received a total of KRW 12,084,560 from the injured party.
