A shall be punished by a fine of KRW 4 million, and Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1.5 million.

The above fines are imposed by the Defendants.

1. Defendant A purchased multiple insurance products with a high level of guarantee beyond the economic ability, and, even if he received outpatient treatment at the E Hospital located in Thai Do, which is easy to receive hospitalization, a certificate of hospitalization, and issuance of a medical certificate, Defendant A attempted to receive high-amount insurance money from an insurance company by pretending that he received hospitalized treatment, or claiming false pain treatment, which would be excessive for a long time compared to the appropriate number of days of hospitalized treatment by using his own disease or filing false pains, even though he could receive hospital treatment.

Then, from May 28, 2009 to June 29, 2009, the Defendant submitted documents to the effect that the Defendant was properly hospitalized for 33 days at the E hospital in order to treat the victim's Korean currency damage insurance for 15 days, including the fact that the Defendant received 90,000 won from the officials in charge of Korean currency damage insurance for the payment of false insurance money until June 11, 2010, and received 19,918,54 won in total under the pretext of hospitalization expenses, etc. for 15 times in total as shown in attached Table 1, as shown in attached Table 1.

Accordingly, the defendant deceivings victims to acquire financial benefits equivalent to 19,918,554 won.

2. Defendant B purchased multiple insurance products with a high level of guarantee beyond the economic ability, and thereafter, Defendant B took advantage of one’s disease or complained for false pains despite the fact that the Defendant received hospital treatment at the F Hospital located in Thai City D and E Hospital where it is easy to issue a certificate of hospitalization and a medical certificate, etc., even though he/she received hospital treatment, as if he/she had received hospital treatment, or could receive hospital treatment sufficiently.
